The first and most important part of my job is to provide the complete organization or your tour.
For transportation I can arrange for you a taxi or a jeep, depending on your destination; a trusted
driver, well experienced on the routes of Ladakh, will pick you up everywhere you want, allowing you to visit
the country both by walking and by car. It's also possible to arrange special transportation tour of
Rupshu and trasportation to Padum, in Zanskar. I can also provide special permissions needed for
boundary valleys such as Nubra and Tso Moriri Lake.
For trekking, the organization depends on how long and hard is the trek you want to do, and the number
of people partecipating; I can arrange horses and donkeys for transportation of food and your things
(tent, backpaks, sleeping bags etc.); the horseman is included.
I can also easily find a cook experienced in traditional tibetan, ladakhi and indian cooking; he'll buy
all the food for the complete period of trek (breakfast, fast lunch and dinner) and everything else needed
(kerosene, pots and pottery etc.). He'll also provide the necessary boiled water.
In every region and village I have useful contacts to find a good accommodation (camping or traditional
guest house) or to solve any need or eventual problem. It's not unusual that a friend of mine invites
me and my customers to have a tea at his home; that's the real Ladakh experience.
Finally, you don't need map region; I'll guide you through all your journey.
